This is great, and long overdue news. Congrats to organisations like Crisis for tirelessly campaigning for The Vagrancy Act's repeal. The repeal is a step in the right direction. But people sleeping rough still need homes, support, and community. That work continues for all of us.

We’ve been donated over £4,000 towards our allotment project! Thanks to @goodgifts.bsky.social's 'Allotment for the Homeless' fund, we can continue running our twice-weekly allotment sessions, offering a peaceful, therapeutic space for people with experience of homelessness to come together.

On Friday, we enjoyed a wonderful resident trip to Ely! Although the day was chilly, the sunshine brightened our visit as we explored the Christmas market, enjoyed each other's company, and warmed up with delicious hot drinks.

On Saturday, we hosted our very first quiz night - a huge thanks to The Comrades Club in Godmanchester for running this! We also held a raffle with prizes kindly donated by our supporters & friends at Cambridge Juice Company, DuffleCat and The Purple Spell. Together, we raised £221. Thank you!

On Tuesday, our allotment group enjoyed a visit to Darwin Nurseries. We made the most of the autumn sunshine with a walk around the gardens, stopped for a well-earned hot drink, and even managed to spot some of the animals, including a few friendly rabbits!

We’re so proud of Ryan! After leaving prison, he faced an uncertain future - sofa surfing and battling addiction. Once he connected with us, we offered supported housing and mental health support. Now, he’s in his own flat, clean and sober, and running a thriving gardening business.
