The five environmental activists have been detained for 821 days, while their case has been awaiting a hearing at the Phnom Penh Court of Appeal for more than two years.
We urge Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Koeut Rith to intervene urgently and help secure a new hearing date for the five activists.

(Poster: Licadho) Mother Nature Cambodia is one of the country's leading civil society groups, working since 2012 with frontline human rights activists to protect Cambodia's environment.
Our main mission is to assist and work alongside those Cambodians willing to take risks. Our main work focuses on exposing to large audiences the excesses, environmental destruction, and human rights abuses that all-too-often are linked to the out-of-control development the country has been seeing for over two decades.
