Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 02/02/2025If you go follow @aarnegranlund.bsky.social and check his profile, he has a starter pack for fly fishing. If you follow that pack, it automatically follows a bunch of us who are into the sport. 030
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 27/01/2025Hi all! Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 26/01/2025Had a break in the cold weather today, and got a few trout to eat! #iowadriftless #flyfishing 2221
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 25/01/2025And some “after” photos of a few #iowastreams we’ve worked on this summer! 2101
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 25/01/2025A few streams I’ve walked this week in need of a little TLC. #flyfishing #conservation #iowastreams 091
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 11/01/2025Great to see you on Bluesky! Thanks for the great content! 130
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 02/01/2025I try the same thing if I’m trying dries or nymphs. If I’m doing streamers, I usually do 3-6 depending on the complexity. I’ve also been trying to do at least 3 new patterns a week. It’s been fun! 100
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 27/12/2024Gotta do something to break the winter blues! Fly box of streamers will be auctioned off a our local TU event. #flyfishing #flytying 1221
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 12/12/2024Tying up a storm for smallmouth next year! #flyfishing #flytying 1251
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 06/12/2024I like bead chain, lead free wire, and doll eyes from the craft store. My wife knits, and so I steal her wool yarn scraps for tying nymphs and scuds. 120
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 04/12/2024Iowa isn’t known for its exceptional trout fishing, but we certainly have it! I’m fortunate enough to work for Trout Unlimited and work to make these streams better. If anyone ever wants to fish Iowa, let me know! 0230
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 04/12/2024I’m more of an Orvis guy myself, but like Echo for the price point. I’ve been getting into fiberglass lately and dig my Graywolf and just ordered a Chris Barclay rod. 130
Cameron Aker @camaker.bsky.social · 04/12/2024I enjoyed “The Optimist” I can’t remember the author, but it was good. He’s got a second book out too. “Fishing Through the Apocalypse” was good too. 010
