Last night he slept in my lap for the last time, and today my best boy took his final trip to the vet. I'm glad he's no longer suffering, and astonished at how immediately and utterly heartbroken I am.

I found 'The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer' in a charity shop when I was 13, and it (and what followed it) changed my ideas, my tastes, my circle of friends - my whole world. David Lynch was magic. We're so lucky to have had him.
