Summerland, an idyllic afterlife depicted in this collage. Each shape has been cut out from my linoprints with a scalpel so it’s a long process to put together. I’ll be offering giclee prints of this as it’s a one off, and quite a large collage.

‘Heathen’ print in gold. Lots of ideas behind this print relating to my Irish ancestors worshipping the earth and nature-called Heathens by the Catholic Church. I grew up Irish Catholic and the word was derogatory, aimed at those whose souls would be lost if they weren’t part of organised religion.

Update on the wreath print, and now back to carving for the next layer. All the little dots are the flower buds of the heather. This is based on a beautiful handmade wreath, made from Irish heather. #linoprint

The paperback edition of ‘A Little History of Art’ by Charlotte Mullins is available now. I did a new cover for this edition with Georgia O’Keefe and the endpapers feature a lot of my favourite illustrations from the book. Most importantly my current duvet cover compliments it perfectly.
