Finally got my shit together to hang out in the garage for some beers and make this happen:

Happy scans day to those who celebrate, medium format black and white is the best way to shoot cars imo

This tree likely sprouted sometime before europeans ever sailed to this continent, and its offspring lower down the ridgeline will outlast regimes and empires that now feel unassailable. Bristlecones are a different level of ancient.

A pair of BNSF locomotives without any train cars runs southbound along the street level Mason street line through Fort Collins, CO. The lead engine is painted in the classic "Warbonnet" Santa Fe paint scheme and the trailing engine is in normal BNSF orange. Both engines are GE C44-9W models.

A close-up of the front-left corner of a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette hardtop, the hood is lifted into the direction of the sun and is shading the cabin. Anything below the beltline along the side of the car is shaded, but the white paint provides plenty of detail and the red stripe on the hood scoop strongly contrasts the rest of the car. Overall the car is more menacing and performance-oriented than a typical vintage Corvette and the photo is composed to accentuate that menace.

Columbia Basin Railroad #171, an *ancient* EMD SD9 locomotive behind a trio of BNSF Dash 9-44CWs rolling southbound on the Mason Street trackway through Old Town Fort Collins.

An equally ancient Montana Rail Link liveried SD9, #610 bringing up the end of the quintet of engines on the southbound train through Fort Collins

Case 1: Phoenix I 200 whips ass
