My question was about the original post. Is brennan doing what he does bad for marginalized people. He seems pretty vocally for civil rights. And is using his platform to fight for them. But is because he uses a D&D like system make it wrong?

And i suppose i sound like im taking the side of someone doing something wrong. Like is playing TTRPG a bad thing for me and my queer gaming group? There's lots of systems out there besides D20. I just was of the understanding that dimension 20 has used their platform to push back against hasbro.

It's based on D&D sure, but they modify the hell out of it. And use their own settings. Nothing is happening in greyhawk or faerun. Hasbro doesnt own the idea of a bard or a fighter. They had a whole campaign in a food/candy based setting people wanted them to release books for.

Had fun troubleshooting my grandfather's old 1970s Lincoln Towncar today. Thing hasn't run in ages, but with some wires, and old screwdriver and a digital multimeter. Figured out the starter solenoid was shot and voltage regulator was on the fritz. Got it to start up and run.

I see it happen so often too, people just seem to think there's some kind of safety net surely. Until they get sick and realize, there's nothing to help you pay rent. No help with transportation. Insurance will deny all your medical costs. And now they want to institutionalize us all. Its hell.
