He showed up yesterday, and even brought the missus with him. Early spring was the first I ever spotted a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker. So happy he showed up again. If you look close, you can see the hole he made throught the bark.

Love this. It reminds me of my Bob-Girl and her bestie, Flower the Calico. Bob was deaf and Flower was her ears. They were almost always together or at least close by. Neither one are with us any more. Frolicing along the rainbow bridge.

This is my brother and my grandson. He was born in 1948 and stricken with polio in 1949. As time goes on, post-polio syndrome has taken over and he's slowly weakening even more, little by little.

This is my uncle, Thomas Recenello, USCG Carpenter's Mate Second Class. I never met him. All I have of his are his letters written home, his theater medals and his Purple Heart. On his way back to the US, USS LST-327 was hit by a U-boat.
