I’d be all over this if the “XBox 25” stamp either wasn’t there or on the battery cover. It uglies up the front of it.

GoW: E-Day takes ~ 14 hours to complete the campaign. Compared to your average open-world game taking well over 50+, if this is really aimed at markets who can’t readily access the hardware, then they either dont expect them to play long games or they 100% expect people to have to buy more time.

I loved every episode. It might be because I’m not a) a Green Lantern aficionado b) a DC comics fan outside of Batman and The Flash

I’m a Gears fan. But I’m not a “$70 Pizza Cutter” tier fan.

“Two controllers gives you head to head excitement” <The included single player game immediately replaces that excitement with confusion and frustration!>

When I first saw this commercial, it was like a fever dream. The idea of a game where Nintendo characters are just beating the sh out of each other seemed so out of left field - it didnt feel real. Im so glad this franchise exists.

Current State of Affairs “Where is new game?” >It’s right here. In active development. “Oh we dont like/want that one. Where is other new game?” >Well we’re expanding on this IP … “No we don’t want those either. Where is new game?” > -_-

The Link Between Worlds 3DS bundle came out 2 months after that if the internet is to be believed but those were the last 2.

Which is actually crazy. I wonder what did instead?

Uhh … “My first confession, I actually don’t know my address… one day I had to pump gas — it was a few years ago. They needed my ZIP code, and I panicked. I didn’t know my ZIP code. I don’t know my telephone number. I forget these things. I can live with it.” And the man’s the head of Nvidia.

The NES set was $50 more than this and is 100x better.

I was playing Fire Emblem. A game that came with a physical collectors edition and is packed with over a hundred of hours of story, characters and strategic gameplay.

Youre the only one making it weird

000

Erik Mabry @callmemabry.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

It’s a promotional video for the game that launches today. It’s not weird. It’s marketing.

It’s literally the guy who plays Wolverine in the game bro

Needs at least an update but a sequel would be great. One of Platinum’s best.

Gah. The Mipha sold out. Need a replacement since mine has a broken staff.

Everyone is immediately drawing those connections. But that game was originally announced for GCN, PS2 and XB 24 years ago. Then swapped to a different dev 2 years later. AND they didn’t even bother to officially confirm it as canceled until 12 years ago. In short: no shot.

What this series did not need was a third hedgehog

001

Erik Mabry @callmemabry.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Yeah. I was talking about that very issue on my stream this morning. There was the shot from Link battling Phantom Ganon and it immediately reminded me of this trailer. Feels like we’ve come full circle

Anyone but me old enough to remember when this dropped and people were losing their minds? I think the remake looks fan-freaking-tastic. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J81L...

The CD box set is 5 discs. Besides, these things are more collector’s items than anything. At least for me. Got mine yesterday. It’s beautiful.

This one actually comes with a physical copy of the game your cat can play though
