FINALLY FINISHED MY BOOK, AFTER 3 MONTHS 😩😩😩 The Supernova Era is a fun concept but went between being super good to being a bit clunky. Either way I still enjoyed it well enough! The gf has spoken (chose a number between 1 and 4), next read is Overgrowth by Mira Grant 🙂‍↕️ #scifi #booksky #books

I died for a bit after Art Fight, being busy on the weekends and then working had me barely getting to the finish line (ended up getting about 1 piece done a day). But here are some of my favorites I did this year! #ocsky #artsky #artfight #teamcrystals

First vs last page of my most recent sketchbook! I used a seperate larger book for some AF refs so I used more than one sketchbook but these are still the earliest and latest pieces! I think I started this one late April/ early May #artsky #ocsky #art #sketchbook #oc #artfight #artfight2025

It's always a bit nerve wracking to post something new,, these prices were decided based on how long it takes and stuff like that. I will definitely improve more and more to be more worth these prices🥹

Art fight ref sheet for my boy Max! All of the proper text and true colors are gonna be added digitally, I just can't stand digital lmao. I do hate some of these doodles but I think thats just art 😭 #artsky #refsheet #artfight #ocsky #sketching

Little Barnes n Noble haul to get all the Hunger Games books and support them having moomin stuff! (Tho they only charged me 2 cents for the mug so I'm worried they're trying to get rid of stuff) The moomin plush was definitely the highlight, I love him sm 😭 #bookhaul #booksky #moomin #hungergames

Building my portfolio with headshots (1/5) ‼️OC IS NOT MINE‼️ Thank you for offering your lovely OC @callisto.blockworker.de My friend is telling me this *isnt* a headshot though but idk to me it seems like one🧑‍🦯 I hope you like this. #ocsky #ocart #kolarts

This is my mutual's OC.

She has blue hair, brown skin and is faced to our right looking up. She has blue eyes and a plain light beige shirt on. Her nose is meant to be hooked, but the angle doesn't really show that. She has a long braid over (our) left shoulder. She her torso is surrounded by clouds with rain and a 'star' crown so to speak. She has thick blue eyebrows and two toned lips. Her face is passive in my opinion.

There is also an infinity symbol in the back of the sky to (our) the right. My watermark 'Kolkatsu' is above her shoulder and translucent. There are some clouds in front of her (our) right arm.

Struggles + extra thoughts: Just paranoia honestly. I love drawing others ocs but I am deathly afraid of owner reactions especially when I offered it. I guess another part would be her subtle expression. In the loose sketch she looked blank faced and she's an angel so I kind of wanted her to be more alluring but in a softer way, make her kind of quizzical or like she was caught in thought. I don't know why some choices were made (clouds, rain, infinity symbol and gold stars) but I think it could match? I always worry if the quality is even good enough to be given to someone, but I got sick during this and it was terrible. I initially couldn't start because only 2/4 offered their ocs, then suddenly all the slots were filled and when I started I was struggling with something irl, then got sick. I feel so lazy I couldn't get it out further, but I am also glad I didn't because without all these extra tweaks it would look dry. I also struggle with hair with the indents under, but I didn't wanna skimp out. I'm so grateful my mutual let me draw their character.

There was a funny moment where I made three EU flag with other stars haha.

The same photo just with a more pronounced shadow on the (our) left side.

What an absolute banger, I'm not good at book reviews or anything but my lordy I loved The Dark Forest. But of course it ended in a way that makes me terrified for the next book, despite a "happy" ending for this one. Onto Death's End, the biggest boy in the trilogy #scifi #booksky #sciencefiction
