I hope so, too! Obviously forming initial impressions based on very little material here

I genuinely don’t know how to describe it either, but the tv ads for broadway tickets used to give me chills and the movie clips I’ve seen so far have made me feel…nothing

Is this a safe space to say that I Iove wicked…have seen the play a million times…but something about the movie clips I’ve seen so far is falling flat and I can’t put my finger on it. I’ve only seen a few short clips but there seems to be an emotional disconnect between the audio and visuals?

I’m starting to wonder if a cassandra x mad woman mashup could be part of an announcement while also acknowledging the mashup only exists in our hive mind brains 😂

I’m so excited because I bought my house a few years ago - it was an abandoned fixer upper and I have been working sooo hard on it but I thought most of the plants in the yard were dead. We just got our first bananas in the front yard today!!

Does anyone else have a moment where they brace themselves for the follow limit message while following back and then you’re like oh wait no weird rules here?! Yeah, me too.

Twitter, as we knew it, no longer exists. “X” is a cesspool of misinformation and propaganda. I’ve been reluctant to put a lot of energy into a “Twitter alternative” because none of them have taken off. But I hope we can regain that global conversation someplace again. Maybe this is the place.

my main “bluesky tip” is simply — like and follow posts and people you enjoy seeing in your feed, and “show less” what you don’t enjoy. “training” Discover algorithm takes annoyingly long for now — but it does get more specific with time, and the team will be making it more responsive. data helps.

This is Darwin. He is afraid of pretty much everything. Despite this, our 3yo is convinced he chases away super scary monsters every night when we all go to bed. To him, Darwin is the bravest cat in the world. You might not feel brave, but I promise, just like Darwin, to someone, you are a hero.

Elizabeth Warren’s Time Op Ed is the first thing that’s made me feel hopeful. I don’t know if I believe every word, but it reminded me there’s a LOT of us in the same fight and we are smart and resilient…if hurting at the moment. time.com/collection/t...

I think you actually have to know how to code 🙈 so all I’ve done so far is ride other people’s customizations like add a spot for bookmarks on my home page and label my profile with my fav TS albums

I’m sad about that, too. Kamala was a top pick for me for the 2020 primaries and I never got to vote for her because my state is so late in the cycle, so I was excited! And Tim seems like the type of genuinely good person you want in leadership.
