Here's a bit of Penguins animatic. This show was my first time on a digital tablet, so the drawings are a bit chewy, but I'm really happy with how the story flows. There is something so satisfying about turning a script into an animatic. #storyboard #animatic #pengins #hockey #animation #cartoon

I got to design myself for last night's episode of American Dad! Our crew went to Las Vegas last year to celebrate our 400th episode so we designed a bunch of crew members to put in the background of the Vegas scenes. #americandad #cameo #selfportrait #cartoon #characterdesign

Here is a storyboard cleanup drawing from the SpongeBob Movie. The term "antic" is often used by animators to mean "anticipation" which is a core animation principle. Basically, any big action needs some kind of a wind up. #spongebob #patrickstar #moustache #realman #cartoon #animation

Here is a classic style guide pose from 2004. I didn't do the clean up and color on this, I just did the tight "on model" sketch. This is a real human pencil drawing on paper! I probably still have it in my files somewhere. #spongebob #pencilsketch #cartoon #animation #humanart
