I think I finally might be stable enough to watch last weeks Dynamite. I should probably get it in before tonight's awesome looking card gets going.

Well, shit.. not who I had hoped in the silhouette spot 😕 She'll still be there though, and hopefully getting active. Saori will be busy with Jet Black Oimokabuki (Saori & Unagi) earlier in the evening.

OZ Academy 10.25 match card: Power Gojizones Alliance (ZONES, Itsuki Aoki, Ryo Mizunami, Hiroyo Matsumoto & Rina Yamashita) vs Seikigun (Kakeru Sekiguchi, Yumi Ohka & Mayumi Ozaki) & H.A.T.E. (Natsuko tora & Rina). When I previously posted this card there was a silhouette where Rina is now.

Yep, I seem to be fully back. I just dl'd Stardom in Shizuoka in 4 minutes, before the 1st match even started. I'm thinking my main apps were struggling with the slow speed, latency & jitter issues.. As for the apps that disappeared, and snaps that appeared, that's still an effed up Ubuntu issue..

Calamari Suplex 🦑 @calamarisuplex.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

After a week+ of ripping my hair out I think I *finally* got some shit figured out. What basically happened is, after the 26.04.1 upgrade, a bunch of my apps got really wonky, didn't work, or just outright disappeared. Mainly been thinking it's an X11/Wayland prob (bcuz of the apps involved)..

120

Calamari Suplex 🦑 @calamarisuplex.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Ubuntu 26.04.1 upgrade ruined most of what I do on my laptop by dropping X11 for Wayland. And that's among other things it did, like uninstall QBittorrent (wtf?) and adding snaps of debs I already had. At the soonest opportunity I will be switching to Linux Mint which supports both Wayland and X11.

I like Suzu's new Chrissy Hynde/Joan Jett hairdo. It looks good on her! Though, I think I picked a good time to drop the sub. Cuz Kidani being part of the show is not for me. Once again, another Stardom show where I have zero interest in the top half of the card..

A fun opener between Mio Momono & Haruka Umesaki vs Kaho Kobayashi & CoCo on the Miyuki Takase vs SenJo show. I esp enjoyed the CoCo Mio minutes & wouldn't mind seeing more of that. Second match: Darkness Revolution (Nagisa Nozaki & Misa Matsui) vs Power Gojizones Alliance (Rina Yamashita & ZONES)

I'm hoping that Actwres girl'Z is as quick getting day 2 of the Victoria Tournament up as they were with day 1 (3 days). I need to see Asako Mia tear through her bracket & take this title 😆 Seriously though, both of the day 1 matches were pretty good considering they say they don't wrestle there.

With the emotional investments I have in certain wrestlers, quitting graps is not nearly as easy as I had hoped. But I have cut out a LOT, & today's crappy Stardom show <Artist belts & new STARS> is the last of that sub. Still hanging on to two promotions that haven't offended me, & who I enjoy, tho

A picture that PAC posted to his IG after The Butcher's passing. RIP to both of these men and prayers for their families. Both were key in making/keeping me interested in aedub.

Goodbye 🤼 It was fun for a while.. until it wasn't. I'm tired of being presented with cultural appropriation & racist gimmicks every single fucking day! This morning it was both F4W & Fightful showing me images of Faby Apache in a headdress. I've already had to overlook a LOT of carny bullshit,

An ad for a AAA match on FOX featuring Faby Apache & La Hiedra. Faby apache is wearing a men's plains headdress. This image was prominently displayed on both F4W/WON and Fightful this morning.

LINA (fka RINA & NØRI) and Miku Kanae doing a cultural appropriation and cosplaying at indigenous North Americans. It was not a one time deal, they wore this gear on multiple occasions.

CMLL luchadora India Sioux standing on the ropes in the corner of a Stardom ring earlier this year. She is wearing a men's plains headdress and gear that is meant to resemble a sacred jingle dress, which is worn in a spiritual way by female powwow dancers to mourn their deceased relatives.

The 02line vs HATE Goddesses Of Stardom title match is *by far* my favorite match of the show (w/two to go) both story & graps wise. And other than the Saori with MVL match, it's been a pretty bland ppv up to this point imo. It also must be hot af in this venue, these women are sweating big time!
