The mix of curiosity and unpreparedness while still trying to appear cool and collected... girl is struggling 😂

Forcing her to choose is it's own kind of torment 😉

Aw thanks! I like the stuff I draw to 'make sense' and have some internal consistency, so my attention to detail will often nag at me until I fix/change something 😂 But I'm glad! It creates lots of fun little bits like this~

Ehe thanks! I usually like to imply alts as a progression from one to the next, so details like the used toy come naturally when I'm drawing 😊

aw thanks so much! I never mind VA stuff so long as it's credited, but I appreciate you asking 💖

tysm! I am glad someone mentioned the chest hairs, they took so long but look so soft 🥹

I drew it first so I had something nice to look at while I worked on the rest 🫣💦

Varka's bulge is important and I need people to know about it

oh to be clear he COULD absolutely hold her entire bodyweight like that no problem, one of the benefits of such a stark size difference 🤭

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Tyty! This one is almost deceptively simple, with so many tiny little details to get the motion and flow juuuust right. It was a lot of work but I'm very pleased with the results! 🥰🥰

000

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

this informed the alts for the most recent animation btw 🥳

Eheh he gets speech bubbles for *his* moans, but her's are for Varka only 🤭

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I think she qualifies as a healthy snack, so it's definitely excusable 😌 And tyty, I appreciate that! The angle here was a bit tricky, since the alts involve Nicole's clones pegging/sucking Varka, so I had to make sure I could get a good view for all the different variations.. but it worked! 🫠💙

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Thank you! Just lots of hard work 😊

010

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Tyty! I was honestly surprised with how 3-dimensional this one was looking as I worked on it (especially the grab+squeeze), I couldn't stop gawking 😂

030

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

It is! The character in question can channel and manipulate electricity, so I figured she might occasionally use it when toying with herself 😌

110

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I've animated jingling bell collars a few times, but I always envision the sound alongside it while drawing ☺️☺️☺️

020

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

It gets trickier to draw more cards as she goes unfortunately, but she can nudge one or two off the top with some effort 🤭

030

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Not quite a full year, though you're still right that things feel like they accelerate a bit over time :'D

010

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

The simple version is that I'd suggest checking out the 'Animation Principles' and really focusing on Squash & Stretch, Anticipation, Arcs, and Slow-In-Slow-Out. I usually recommend people try to draw the 'bouncing ball' exercise a few times, then practice applying that to anatomy! 😊

000

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Do it!! I found animation to be one of the most fun art skills to learn because it's so obvious and visually tactile when something works, so the dopamine from hitting little milestones was 100x what I got from drawing and painting 😂

270

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

noticing a trend towards confident-if-abrasive-professionals-who-moonlight-as-huge-subs 🤭

110

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

It's a little tricky, for sure! My first few animations definitely weren't as 'soft', though I've always tried to make sure that flesh feels very fluid and bendable. With practice I've been able to get a better control of the softness, too!

110

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Haha ty! I believe the wizardry is called Trial-And-Error until I like it 😂

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I'm sure she might enjoy that, but she also has to be awake at 5:15am to get ready for a 7:00am meeting and can't be bothered with shooing someone out of her place 😂

020

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Mhm! I drew the alts such that she's working her way through the deck, drawing more cards and adding more elements as she goes 😊

000

Calamari Cakes @calamaricakes.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Slowly and carefully, just like she got in 😌

Ahh, thank you so so much!!! I put so much love into that first comic, and learned a ton that I've been applying ever since. I'm so glad you liked it, I had a great time putting my little headcanons on the page ☺️🥰💖
