A mind-sifter? Horrible, only scum like the Tal’Shiar would use such a thing. These were clearly less than “honorable” Klingons. He clearly need a lot of help, though it sounds like you don’t feel equipped to handle it all. I understand honestly, it can be overwhelming. Other things?

It is an atrocity, no doubt. Many of us believed the Federation didn’t have the stomach for it. I’m… worried. These are dark times. I understand why you would wish to be here, but I fear the coming tide will arrive at Romulus’s shores eventually. Although I’m curious, what did you think I meant?

You are certain? I longed for home when I was away watching Nimbus III fall apart. I know you are one of us, Saavik, but need I remind you, our ancestors left Vulcan to be free. I believe, personally at least, that one aspect of what it means to be Romulan is to not deny yourself.

Good, maybe a little humanitarian aid will get the Klingons to see reason… of course far too many of my colleagues are excited to see our enemies tear each other apart and reap the spoils. They think we can swoop in and grab Romulan dominance from all this… it’s just mutually assured destruction

It’s unfortunate… you know, I actually supported the Nimbus III project. I really wanted our three nations to find common ground… now that seems impossible. The Klingons more aggressive than ever, the Federation is in shambles… the Star Empire is falling back to its old habits of paranoid isolation
