Just bought and devoured Campbell Whyte’s Luna Express graphic novel. What a vivid, angry and loving story, I’m so glad he made this love story to magical girls stories, Perth, and what we can do to make something better and righter 💖

Graphic novel titled Luna Express by Campbell Whyte, with a moon behind the title and holographic sparkles embedded in the cover. Features a strong Aboriginal woman in a pink dress on a delivery bike, along with her three chaotic friends.

Ah I'm sorry to hear! I got to the part with pet uploads and figure they might be nice for you anyway. I hope things are minimally bad for you and your family.

these photorealistic cooked chicken dog toys have been one of the best cat toys i’ve ever bought. they usually sit within grabbing range as a good bunnykicking target, but sometimes they get cuddles too.

I'd like to report that Mickey is a fan of the farmlands cat keyboard mat and also that it does very well with a split keyboard. usually the mouse is on the right side balancing it all out but that's occupied at the moment 😌

I read the :) as being inside the quote marks 😆 While it would be hell on folder path names, "Strawberry :)" would be a very funny project name

Justin wants us to do this more: say no. If someone comes to you asking you to fix something in your open source project, please ask the requestor to sign up for a paid support membership. You aren't responsible for it necessarily, you just put something you made on the internet. jpwarren @ #PyConAU

a reasonable (if admittedly pithy) abstract categorisation of knowledge and understanding - from @benno.au at #PyConAU

an extra reason come to conference talks at #pyconAU: to understand new gamerspeak terms like "skill issue"

photo of Benno on stage at PyConAU in front of a slide with a definition of "Skill Issue": Skill Issue n.p., a snide remark used to suggest that the root cause of a problem lies with the incompetence or lack of skill of the person expressing said problem.

Generally used ironically in response to situations where the problem genuinely lies outside of the person's control, often to troll them.

"Life's been so busy lately I haven't had time to finish writing my talk."

"I dunno, sounds like a skill issue."
