This is becoming old news now, but I've accepted a Canadian Research Chair position at the Université Laval. I'll miss my Manchester colleagues but it's nice to be back in North America and my conjoint québecois est bien content. Looking forward to meeting all the amazing Canadian economists here!

I’ve always tried to be honest about this with JMCs in our dept, and felt like people were honest with me when I was on the market (e.g. number of people denied in past x years, context for denials)
