Are you a post-doc, early career academic, or an established professor in Information Science? The CAIS student forum is looking for mentors for our event on Monday, June 22nd. Please contact us by June 2 at conference@cais-acsi.ca if interested. We will contact you with more information.
The CAIS student forum is looking for mentors for our event on Monday, June 22nd. The commitment is a one-hour long mentor session with Masters and Doctoral students on this day online on Zoom, time to be determined. Each mentor will be paired with 1-2 other mentors to speak to a broader experience across different stages of the academic career. We are looking for post-docs, early career academics and researchers, and established professors and researchers. We are especially interested in mentors who might be able to share experiences related to:

Post-docs (completed and/or supervised)
The current state of hiring within academia
Publishing in academia 
Establishing a research program 
The anxieties (and feasibility) of moving into the American job market

Please contact us by June 2 at conference@cais-acsi.ca to let us know if you are interested in being a mentor for this event. We will contact you with more information.
