Art pieces commissioned by Skeletta to be a gift for NorthernRed for her birthday! (Links to them both in the replies!) #digitalart #animalart #wolfart

Digital drawing of wolf character Norr's head facing to the right while looking to left. His expression is neutral with maybe a little bit of annoyance.

He is a fluffy white wolf with a mane, his face has a mask pattern that goes from light to dark red at his nose. His ears also show a similar gradient with dark red tips.

He has bright orange irises with a light to darker orange

Digital art piece featuring the side profiles of Xaya, a red and white wolf, running with Milka, her colourful Caique/parrot companion flying next to her.

Xaya has a mostly dark red body with a lighter red belly and legs. Her face, front feet and inside ears are bright white. Around her eyes is a light grey colour with smaller grey dots around them. Her bright red irises and orange sclera stand out against her white fur, making them the focal point of the art piece.

Milka the caique is a small bird with a dark green on her tail and the outside of her wings and grey inside the wings. Her belly is an off white, with her legs and part of her face having a blend of orange and yellow. The top of her head is black which covers part of her bright red eye

These were some cassowaries I drew a couple months ago! I made them for a fact page I put at the end of one of my comic's chapters. I really like how they turned out, I don't draw realistic animals very often! The lines from them are also free to use as well www.deviantart.com/cairinaadopt...

Image showing digital drawings of the three extant (living) cassowary species.

They are all large flightless birds with long black feathers covering most of their bodies, except for their legs, half of their neck and head.

The differences between them include:

-The Southern Cassowary having two long red wattles with a mostly blue neck and head, as well as a larger brown casque on their head

-The Northern Cassowary has a blue head with a yellow neck and singular wattle. The folded casque being a pale blue/green mixed with light brown

-The Dwarf Cassowary, has a pale blue head and slightly darker blue neck with red on the back of it. This one also has no wattles, just feathers coming up higher compared to the other species.
The casque is the shortest of all three too

Image showing the southern Cassowary with a small tan and white chick with dark brown stripes across its body. They're both in-between two blocks of text

The text reads:

Animal Facts!

Southern Cassowaries

-They are one of the largest living birds, just under ostriches and emus, height-wise

-They're omnivorous, but around 90% of their diet consists of fruit

-The Australian population is currently endangered, cars and dog attacks being the cause of most deaths

-Females are typically larger, have larger casques and bills, and also have brighter colouring on their heads and necks

- They're a solitary species, only interacting with others during breeding season

-The males will make the nest, incubate the eggs and also raise the chicks alone

-With their powerful kicks and sharp claws they've been said to be the most dangerous and aggressive bird, however
that's not entirely true. Most of those showing aggression were fed by humans, meaning they were expecting food.
The others are usually protecting themselves, food or their chicks.
Since 1900 there's only been two deaths by cassowaries, one of which was iniated by two young boys aiming to kill the bird

Image showing the Northern and Dwarf cassowaries under a block of text. Three Cassowary silhouettes are shown below them, ordered from smallest to largest, Dwarf, northern then the southern Cassowary

The text reads:

Other Cassowaries

-There are four known species of cassowary: southern, northern,
dwarf and the extinct pygmy cassowary. All three extant (alive)
species are found in new Guniea, with Australia only
having the southern species

-Surprisingly cassowaries are most closely related to kiwis

-All species are quite shy, and typically avoid humans

-They do possess wings, but they are very small and barely visible.
The feathers on them being stiff and quill-like

I make a batch of adopts each week, this one was raptor creatures! Their colours were based on some bird species. (Will be listed in the thread/replies, along with the character's availability) If interested in adopting them I'm Accepting: $20 usd (PayPal or Stripe), Art and characters!

Digital drawing showing 4 different designs of feathered dinosaur-like animals.

The first is a tall, skinny, fluffy green, blue and yellow raptor with a white mask pattern around their eyes. Their tail is long, red and has a light blue tuft at the end

The second has an emu-like shape, is mostly green with a yellow/orange face and belly, as well as a blue marking around the face going above the eye.

The third is duck-like and has a more neutral pallet of browns, white and greys, with a small amount of red on the underside of the feathered tail and the three feathers coming off the head

And the final design is a brown, white and orange raptor sitting down. They have small ear tufts similar to some owl species and a long fluffy tail, as well as relatively large legs
