The author is funding a genocide, the original artist of the trend supports it, and the character is named a slur. Anything related to the franchise is harmful to the trans community, and that trend specifically is harmful to all women. People want to convey that so artists stop indulging that shit

Please PLEASE learn more about this situation and stop leaning towards defensiveness. The artist who created it is a jkr fan, the term they used harms cis and trans women alike, they made the trend to be hateful, and knowing or not knowing those details doesn't matter from the outside looking in

The slur is one thing, but the other is that giving her series any publicity or attention only hurts the trans community. She actively is funding their erasure, loss of rights, and eventual genocide. Ignoring that or considering people's disgust an "overreaction" doesn't do any good for anyone
