it's like they're not able to do it unless you're in a shared space with them. Or even if they do talk to you, they consider that as enough. It might just be an age thing as it isn't really until you get older and busier that you realize you gotta plan time together with friends,

but it's just a starting point. There has to be some sort of real one on one bonding, which seems many lack the ability to do or keep up. If you're not existing within a group setting then you simply don't exist for them. Even if they may want to talk to you or whatnot,

They'll form group chats or servers with like minded people in which they hangout spontaneously, do things together as long as it's easy and convenient, but there's barely any real intention behind it. They'll say "we'd love to play with you!" but that's tied to you being able to be there;

Been noticing this trend of how easily they throw the word 'friend' around without actually cultivating a friendship. If you have something in common or have interacted positively a few times you're already a friend, completely bypassing/ignoring any sort of real bond buildup.

Making new friends is hard. Or maybe I'm just unlikeable and boring idk. I just want someone to be excited about spending time together without having to beg for their time, but I always end up as an afterthought. The one never invited.
