The puddle of red-yellow with clear glass was smashed with a hammer into many smaller pieces. You can see the clear stripes in the small bits. It is arranged on a kiln shelf ready for a full (high temp) firing which will result in cabochons on varying sizes and circle/oval shapes.

The cabochons from the last photo after the firing. Some are very red-clear striped and some are just very red. They are all kinds of circles and oval shapes. They are very pretty and I am very happy with them.

It is layers of coarse frit (ground glass.) There is clear frit, then aventurine (sparkly) green, and then a few bits of red and dichroic (sparkly!) glass.

The tack fuse (low temp) got everything well stuck together and smoothed out the sharp bits, but it still has a delightfully bumpy texture.

Four canes of glass. They were made by pulling hot glass through a hole a the bottom of a kiln. The colors are yellow and orange, with some clear in it. As I pulled the glass, I twisted it so the colors wrap around. They’re not perfectly straight by any means, but very cool!

Two baked chicken breasts with a crispy panko coating on a cooling rack. The coating is a bit dark brown on the edges, because they were very thick and needed to cook a while.

A package of Kinder's Crispy Panko Blend Seasoned Coating mix. It is the Parmesan Herb flavor. It is a white and yellow package with black lettering and a photo of sliced chicken over noodles.

I don't think I posted the "before" on the green plaid votive, but here it is after the tack fuse - there is a lot more sparkle to it than the photo shows. #FusedGlass

5.5 x 5.5 inch sheet of fired glass ribbons. The ribbons are about 1 mm thick and 4 mm wide. They are clear and aventurine (sparkly) green, arranged vertically and horizontally with green, clear, green, etc. It is a lovely plaid and feels festive t ome.

This piece was tack fused. (Lower temp firing.)

It will go into a slump fuse to turn it into a votive candle holder.

They are all 3x3 inches. From left to right, top to bottom:

1. There are blue and green aventurine (sparkly) corners and in the center is a clear square.

2. There are a 1 inch wide blue and green aventurine (sparkly) strips and in the center is a clear strip.

3. There are blue and green aventurine (sparkly) borders and in the center of the borders is clear square.

4. There are blue and green aventurine (sparkly) corners - one big and one small of each color, and in the center is a clear rectangle.

The answer to "will it wreath?" is YES! I am so tickled with the fact that it worked - I put two more in today. More green in them and a little denser. The transparent red also worked really well! #FusedGlass

The colors for the sauce dishes is great, the frit insert went sideways and there is a bubble. This is why I just did the one to start. May still slump it and keep it as a ring dish or something. #FusedGlass

The 6 x 6 inch sheet of fired glass ribbons from the prior posts. It was placed over a stainless steel mold and a slump (lower temp) firing was done - the edges bend down in the firing and now it is a votive candle holder.

Oh, it came out of the slump and I never posted it - I went with a somewhat shallow mold, and I like the simplicity of how it came out. #FusedGlass

The fired and slumped frit stretch from the previous posts. It’s an 8 inch circle and mostly clear, and the pink, blue, and white frit is in clusters and blobs around the edges, and then the frit stretches out towards the center of the circle, and looks a bit like an exploding firework. It slumped into a simple, shallow bowl.

Also found some gorgeous red-yellow streaky glass in the class store - they only had a half sheet, which they normally don't cut down to 10x10s for class, but it can still be used as part of the allotment - so I have a lot of it, LOL. Starting with some puddles. #FusedGlass

An unfired sheet of glass. It is a red-yellow "streaky" glass - unfired it looks mostly orange, but it will "strike" on firing and be red and yellow.

A stack of 7 pieces of glass, each 3 by 3 inches. It alternates between the red-yellow streaky glass in the prior photo and clear glass. It will get a full (hi temp) fuse and then will be broken up and refired into cabochons.

And Curious by Nature - she makes these cool little prints - they're linocut prints and then she cuts them out and collages them onto paper that she also makes. So cool, I could have legit bought one of everything she had.

A few bunches of gebera daisies in a vase. About 2/3 of them are yellow, and arranged around the outside of the bunch, and the ones in the middle are a deep red.

Got some pretty flowers at the farmers market this morning. 🥰 And onion-dill biscuits from the same bakery that did the onion-dill sourdough. These should be awesome.

I knew I would find something fun to do with my dots! This is going to get a tack fuse so the dots will still be all raised up, and then slumped into a votive candle holder. #FusedGlass

An unfired piece of 5.5 by 5.5 inch clear glass. It is covered with glass "dots" that I made. The dots are various shades of blues and clear glass that has a stripey effect. In the center, there is a blank area about 2 inches in diameter. This will later be slumped into a votive candle holder and that empty part will be the base of it.

6 x 6 inch sheet of fired glass ribbons. The ribbons are about 1 mm thick and 4 mm wide. They are clear and transparent spring green, and transparent neo lavender, and arranged vertically and horizontally with green, clear, purple, clear, green, etc. It is a lovely plaid.

This piece was tack fused. (Lower temp firing.) There is lots of texture from the ribbons themselves, and where the green overlapped itself, it’s darker green, and where the lavender overlapped itself, it’s darker lavender. Where the colors overlapped each other, the green won out and it’s darker green.

An unfired 2 x 2 inch piece of clear glass with 7 glass ribbons on it for color testing.

The ribbons are black, red, yellow, white, transparent cyan blue, aventurine (sparkly) green, and transparent deep royal purple.

I made two of these and one will get a tack fuse (lower temp firing) and one will get a full fuse (higher temp firing.)

Also doing a color test on this lemon-lime green - it's not technically a streaky, but it sure looks a bit like it to me. We'll see what next week brings on this one. #FusedGlass

Two 2 inch by 1 inch pieces of unfired glass. They are both transparent lemon-lime green and have a layer of clear glass underneath. The glass almost has a streaky effect to it, showing more yellow in some spots.

One will get a full fuse firing (high temp) and one will get tack fuse firing (lower temp)
