I went to a weekend broom making course, it was so interesting and so much fun to do! Spent time with a lovely group of witchy-inclined ladies of my age. I can't wait to make size broom of my own this summer. #broommaking #brooms #hobby #learning

Picture of the hand broom I made, with broom corn bristles, a wrapped cord handle and dried flowers in the center. The handle has an Egyptian scarab pendant tied to it.

Thought I'd share my #tav since we are all gearing up for patch 8 for Baldur's Gate 3! Feel free to share yours! #bg3 First is Lance, who I played as a bard, and second is Thunderstorm Darkness, a storm sorcerer. Both completely different play styles but so much fun!

Lance, my BG3 bard. He was quite sassy and mischievous. He is sitting down in a relaxed pose, looking off to the left at someone out of shot. He has choppy short white hair and brown skin, and blue markings under his eyes.

My second character, Thunderstorm Darkness. He's a storm sorcerer, Master of lightning and ice. He has long dark brown hair with a purple undertone, pulled back in a braid, and a scar down his left cheek. He's looking off to the side, and partly in shadow.

I can't remember if I've shared Larry the Swan with you all? 😄 This is my first attempt at stumpwork and whitework embroidery. It was a lot of fun and the white on white hides the wobbly bits well 😅

I forgot I'd saved this snippet of Brand and Rune bickering in the middle of a life threatening situation (as usual 🤣). From The Last Sun, book one of #thetarotsequence by KD Edwards I live for their interactions 🤣 💗

Next project I'm giving a go... stumpwork! It's a really weird name for what is basically 3D embroidery. I'm excited to try it out with this kit I bought! #stumpwork #whitework #embroidery

Started planning out the details of my new goldwork project! The orinigal photo I was inspired by was taken by @alisonfisk.bsky.social (see below for link to original post) Its an Saxon copper brooch decorated in gold and garnets, and as soon as I saw it I wanted to do this in goldwork. ../2

I cannot be reasonable about #thetarotsequence novels by @kdedwardsnc.bsky.social . It's been about six months since I last read them, and last week I decided it was time to give them a reread. Yanno, take it slow, savour it. Yeah, no. I have devoured these books. I'm half way through /1

Cover of The Last Sun by KD Edwards, first book in the Tarot Sequence Trilogy. Art show a man with brown hair in a leather jacket, eyes glowing, and his companion in the background wearing a hoodies and holding a gun in a defensive stance. There is a giant stained glass window behind them showing a stylized sun motif.

Felt I should share my Tav? Dav, if it's Dragon Age Veilguard, maybe? Damn you Larian, now any character I make is a Tav, it's stuck. #tav #larian #DAV #Dragonageveilguard

Image of my character from Dragon Age Veilguard. Rook is an elf with shoulder length dark brown hair and pointed ears, and a large burn mark that scars the right side of his face. He is dressed in silver armour with a dark tunic underneath, and is looking off to the side at another character. The room is dark and atmospheric and sort of creepy.
