After 26 years as an engineer, I think it is impossible for me to type out "serve" without typing "server". I even did it typing this post and I KNEW I was pointing out the problem :throws hands in the air:

Faith said let's do a team photo! I had been working all day and had messy unbrushed hair still, so I reached for the first hat I could grab and ended up with my 2019 denewb hat from the Riot days.

Day 6 in evacuation. I have it easier than most, I'm just in a friend's mobile home in the desert. But it is so cold this morning.

Hot take - Finn would have been an outstanding Jedi with the stormtrooper to Jedi arc, but someone didn't have the guts to do it.

I've been advised not to do "struggle posts" talking about the hard times a startup studio can face as it "sours investment". This has led to a virtual self-imposed gag order that feels incredibly stifling as a creative. If you wonder why I don't post as often, this is why.

Spent the morning looking for a unified Digital Asset Manager solution for WFG. It's surprising to me how many places just don't list prices or specs on these. If you have a fav DAM give a shoutout.

I'm in talks with 3 other magicians to put together a travelling stage show in SoCal. We're going to figure out the specifics while I'm in Vegas this weekend studying with Jeff McBride. My life is weird %)

Let's talk WebGL. Unreal Engine dropped support in UE4 and I hear Unity's support is waning. With streaming platforms wanting web embeddable gaming, were these engines wrong in dropping this support? Is the future Godot? How is engine support and the market so misaligned?

I asked ChatGPT4 if it could remember any new information I told it. It said no, it can't learn anything new. I asked it how it felt about that, and it said it couldn't feel. So I asked it to write me a poem about how it can't remember... and I got this haunting prose
