It seems like every new release I pick up these days is written in present tense. I find it distracting - what’s with this trend? And am I the only one who prefers the more traditional past tense when reading? #amreading #books #amwriting

Let’s be honest… The societal divide between “left” and “right” really just comes down to Conservatives saying “It’s my way or the highway,” and then getting pissed odd when we progressives jump in the car and take off..

I see a lot of memes about cats saying they have no food when there’s plenty in their bowl. I also see a lot of memes about how if there’s no snacks or microwaveable food, there may as well be no food in the house. I wonder who learned from whom?

I know that it’s not what it means, but I feel like it SHOULD be that if the weather app is like (🌧️ 50%) then half of that hour it won’t be raining.

Every time Word gives me the dashed blue underline and tells me I could be more concise with this phrasing I hear the great Robin Williams reminding me of the importance of language. Stop trying to make my words simple and uninspiring. Your conciseness is boring! #amwriting

You know how they’ve forced all the mobile manufacturers to use USB-C charging ports? Can we get this for app development? Try to go back by swiping in one app works, the next it creates a reply, then it saves the message. Consistency people!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but POV means point of view. If you’re making a video that is actually of you doing the thing you’re saying “POV: …” that isn’t your Point of View, it’s just a video of you doing the thing. Sincerely, me.

The problem with trying to write a #TTRPG setting is my obsession with telling stories. Every new beat or NPC who features somewhere suddenly has me inspired to start a novel to tell their story in detail. Patience, Cadence. One project at a time. #ttrpgcommunity #amwriting #ttrpgcreators

It’s interesting to look through social media lists and realise how many people you added because you saw them as a connection, only to realise they just see you as their audience.

I hate gaping plot holes… Sometimes I’m watching or reading something and there’s this glaring continuity error and I lose all my suspension of disbelief. I end up wondering if the writer noticed it and just ignored it? Or was somehow oblivious. And I don’t know which is worse.
