I’ve had 2 cats with this-they can appear as a cat ages. They are like moles on humans: could be benign, could be cancer, something to monitor with visits to the specialist.

Spent the night day funding children’s sewing camps by helping to sell donated fabric and yarn ($2/lb). Leftovers given to charities like Project Linus. Over 1K lb textiles kept out of the waste stream. A fun but tiring day.
