Please remove your review. We have the owners here today and police on notice just in case anything like this would ever happen. This is a scam created by god knows who and we have no place for this in our establishment. Just because some random group posts this on twitter doesn't make us have any part of this. Love the KOIN article that has the owner saying "oh we would have asked them to leave if we knew!!!" with an image carousel featuring openly worn shirts that have "American Nationalist" and the image of fucking nazi "martyr" Horst Wessel on them them right below that quote. Such blatant BS.

The owner said they don’t support white nationalism and wouldn’t have booked the group had they suspected they were associated with the ideology.

“We don’t know, we don’t know who’s walking through the door. And sure, if they walk in and they’re awful, and they and they’re obviously somebody that’s not going to be kind to our staff or to other guests, we’re going to ask them to leave,” the owner said.

Some things spotted in the garden today included some Purple Clarkia (Clarkia purpurea) and a spider-parasitizing wasp. Still waiting to get a biopsy for my brain tumors, but oncologist seems to think they look low-grade and non-aggressive, so that's good.

The flowers of Clarkia purpurea, fuschia-petalled flowers with darker splotches in the middle tip of each petal. White anthers in the middle. The leaves are narrow, long, and straight.

A Rose Pogonia that bloomed way before all the others, which are still probably a week or so behind.

The flower of a Pogonia ophioglossoides. The sepals and two main petals are a light pink where the lip is a fringed and striated darker pink with green and yellow hairs as it gets closer to the column.

The image is likely AI. There are two fountains by the WH: the closest is near Penn Ave, but has less lawn near it. The other in the President's Park near E St. The Pres Park one is the closest match to the image, but the fountain resides much further from the WH than what is shown.

An array of Sarracenia colors atm! Alt text contains the variations/hybrids.

Sarracenia flava var cuprea. The base leaf is green with a copper-colored blush. The veins are umbre/red.

Sarracenia moorei (flava x leucophylla). The leaves are white with green and rose red veins.

Sarracenia 'Alucard' x 'Leah Wilkerson'. The leaves are cream white with maroon red veins and fade to green down the stem.

Sarracenia flava var. ornata 'Black Vein'. The base leave is yellow-green, the venation on these is currently red, but will turn chocolate brown later in the year.

One of my favorite times every year is the flowering of the Cistus landanifer (Labdanum). For a brief week or so the large bush gets covered in these lovely white, red, and yellow blooms that last a day before being blown away on the breeze.

A single flower of Cistus landanifer. A flat flower of white petals with a single dark red splotch near the center of each. The center is sulfur yellow and the general structure is similar to a rose or poppy.

PNW native flower appreciation! More on their way, but this is what is blooming currently in the garden.

Lewisia cotyledon flower spray. Pink blooms with pale pink pictoee and orange centers.

Limnanthes douglasii flowers. Five petaled blooms with sulphur yellow centers and white tips give it the nickname Poached Egg plant.

Dicentra formosa or Pacific Bleeding Hearts fringed, fern-like leaves with pale pink flowers resembling a heart.

Real neat genus famous for their mushroom mimicry to attract flies and monkey-like appearance!

The Dracula orchid flowers:
Dracula gigas - a rusty red flower with three long sepals hanging down. The lip and minute dark petals look like a monkey's face.

Dracula lotax - a white orchid with white sepals that fade to dark red as they extend down. The lip is small and white and the small petals have red striations.

Dracula vampira - a beige and lime green flower with dark brown/black striations that cover the sepals. The lip is light beige and has ridges like the underside of a mushroom. The two petals are so diminutive they are almost non-existent.

This part is really key. Autism is such a large and diverse spectrum and all too often, even in groups like Autism Speaks, the focus and microphone is given to parents instead of the people who actually are on the spectrum. Our representation must include us too.

“When we talk about diversity, I don’t just mean as an African American woman. There were more autistic people and more parents with more levels of need and ways of moving in the world. I was really truly proud to be a part of it because I knew that while we might not always agree on everything, we would have healthy discussion and there was mutual respect,” she said.

She believes that the current committee does not reflect the diversity of the autism community.
