Trump has made me reexamine Nixon. Yes, he was a crook. A racist. A warmonger. Yet I remember watching when he resigned, and he was almost in tears. Because he'd dedicated his entire life to serving his country, and misguided as he was, it hurt him to be cast aside by the country he loved.

I was a "comedian in the local scene" awhile back. For the most part, it was fun. I got to do some sets at the Improv, and have some laughs. But many people (myself included) were damaged in some way. Then I started dating a fellow comic...whoa boy...that was a mistake.

I was in hospital for two weeks at the beginning of last year. Surgery/recovery in one, and inpatient rehab for the other. The food was pretty damned good. And it only cost $175,000! What a bargain!

So, it turns out a friend of a friend of mine was arrested for having sex with a 14 year old girl. Because he "loved her" and thought it was okay. My friend visits him in prison (when he gets out of isolation). He knows what he did was wrong, and has accepted his fate. He is where he belongs.

Nothing against ADAS (the driver aids like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, etc.) but Tesla markets it's system as something beyond what it is capable of. More importantly, when it fails the driver is not trained to recover from when your Model X swerves or leaves the road.
