perhaps this is a hot take but seeing someone's original character and deciding to tell them "hey your character looks a LOT like [character or person from popular media]" is actually pretty fucking rude! that's their own special lil guy and you've just told them that their guy isn't unique enough for you to consider them as its own distinct creation.
