Disgusting and disturbing. It will be a very short step to using it against US citizens. Assuming it has not already happened.

The national warning shot that this was working was fired in Bush v Gore in 2000. We ignored that also. Today the Federal Judiciary is owned by the wealthy. We need to replace the Federal Judiciary Act of 1796 by reforming the Federal Judiciary branch.

The first warning was when Charles Koch announced at a national business conference the Koch organizaiton was going to start buying federal judges (Charles Koch gave his pivotal 1974 speech was a gathering of the Institute for Humane Studies (IHS).) We ignored it.

Apparently banking and getting involved with the Turnip, even on a peripheral basis brings on suicide by hanging.

Sorry but no political efforts really seem to be responsible. Violent crimes overall started falling in 1994. It has not been a straight line but the trend has been consistent with the exception of a spike in 2020. The big surprise for me is that gun deaths per capita are relatively unchanged.

I still think it is kind of funny that if you go look up the data it turns out this is true.

If the Republican party feels it was targeted, it is because the evidence led to the Republican party breaking the law. Or at least the members of the party.

For those trained in legal matters, why does the Supreme Court get to issue shadow docket rulings which are treated as the final say? When I search the issue the legal basis for the existance of the shadow docket is a temporary injunction to block harm with immediate, irreversible real world impact

I will admit at first I thought it was from the thirties for Nazi Germany, then I flashed to Man in the High Castle. After about a second I finally realized this might indeed be the new US passport. I am glad mine is still good for a few years.

You would earn a lot more credit with voters if you would stop with the "get Turnip" threats and say you are going after the people who have enabled him. Every single Republican has demonstrated a complete lack of integrity if they support Turnip in 2024. They should have known in 2016.

This is one of most appalling and truthful statements showing the inequality of our entire justice system. We alway go after the poor because they are easy and cannot afford a defense. The prosecutors get a quick cheap notch on their gun.

How much longer before the DOJ runs out of people with any remaining schred of integrity? Eventually that will happen and then these cases will move forward.

Yup! She would be my pick right now for President. Jack Smith for AG and Pete Buttigieg for Sec of State. There is no point in pulling another Biden who spent his entire presidency fixing stuff and got no credit. First we need to fix the system. Voting, tax code, education, immigration, etc

The same thing happened with Paul Wellstone. He pledged, then broke his promise, because like every other politician does, he determined his ability was too important for him to quit. They all become delusional after a while.

Medicare covers all health related issues. Fully. Pay for it with a payroll tax paid 50% employer/50% employee. This would actually save money for any employer that already provides good employee health insurance. When I had my company, even Obamacare saved the company money, MfA would be better

Every single Republican is complicit in perpetuating this mess. Remember Reagan. Much of what Reagan wanted is finally being accomplished. If you are a Republican, you have been support the effort to end the American experiment. I never would have believed this day would come 50 years ago.

Just because they are starting to break with Turnip we are now supposed to think they no longer support what he has been doing! He is doing exactly what the Republicans want him to do. We all had the opportunity to read Project 2025 before we voted. This is what Republicans voted for.

I was really amused to see the headline. Spending millions to find 7 potential people who were non citizens. I would like to know how many felons and people who voted twice were also found. Based on history there are typically nine or ten of the felons and twice voters for every non-citizen

Reform campaign law. Only a registered voter can contribute to a candidate. Only one campaign committee for each candidate. Each voter is restricted on the total annual contributions to all political campaigns. A registered voter can only contribute to the campaign for someone they can vote for.

Robert Kraft is another entitled wealthy guy who proved the laws only apply to people without much money. He was caught in a sex trafficking sting in Florida and bought his way out of any prosecution. If you have enough money many jurisdictions don't want to prosecute because it is expensive.

The difference in how that went was back then many Republicans still did not understand where the party was going. Even with Reagan and his give more money to the wealthy, starve the federal government, and blame all problems and the people with darker skin, Republicans still did not understand.

Remember without infrastructure the wealth cannot even exist. Real estate tax is the biggest source of funding for infrastructure. Fire. police, education, roads, communication. All paid for with real estate taxes. Most people do not own their home, the bank does. But they pay a 2%+/- tax on it

An asset tax based the value of all assets controlled by a person would do exactly that. I cannot think of a more lawful approach to addressing the issue. Taxing the corporation does nothing to limit wealth. Taxing the stockholders through the company they own does.

Congress can regulate interstate and international commerce. They to write a federal law where all such companies must incorporate federally. Every such corporation must have all workers represented by a dedicated union. No company can buy another or control another. No corporate shield.

Actually the bin Laden family has been best friends with the Bush family for decades. Many visits together. W was even in business with bin Laden's brother, Salem. Also I saw reports that the only private jets flying across the US just after 9/11 were Saudi jets given special dispensation by W.

All true in my opinion. But I do like to make sure we stick with facts. The constitution was careful not to create a list of what constitutes a high crime. "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors." Failing to respect the Constitution and the emoulements clause is grounds.

And corporate reform at the federal level. No more shell corporations, no corporation can own another corporation. Any time a market sector is dominated by a few corpoations, they must be broken up. NO corporate shield when laws are broken. The Board of Directors and CXO, are held liable also

Also, we no longer need nine justices, one chief to be the boss and any associate can oversee a trial. The chief can assign any relavent duties to an associate. One other important issue is that while serving any payments made to a justice must be turned over to the IRS. No book deals.

Do not add justices to the Supreme Court. Pass a Judicial Act of 2026 which redefines how the Supreme Court works. Personally, I would require that all cases before any Federal Court must be decided by a jury of 12. At least 10 jurors must sign on to any decision. One of the Supremes can oversee
