Rainbow Islands on Amiga is absolutely pushing the hardware. It's an arcade game ported almost flawlessly on 1 Amiga Disk. The 3 levels are secret in the arcade, so not having them, yes it's abummer, but just gives me more reason to go back to the arcade version after beating the Amiga version.

Also, I think people give this "pushing the hardware" nonsense too much credence. Someone wrote that about my Mario's Cement Factory port on C64 on Lemon comments... Sure it doesn't push the hardware, it's not supposed to. It's a fucking game and watch game port on C64. But it's still fun!

Well the C64 version didn't have all the levels either. The C64 version suffers a lot from diamonds and other bonus items not spawning when they should, which is infuriating when u've managed to kill an enemy in exactly the right spot for the coloured diamond you needed.

Feel like the Amiga version deserved to be higher than the C64 version by at least a little bit. I loved the C64 version but the Amiga version was near flawless (aside from missing 3 islands). I would've gone 94% Amiga, 90% C64.
