I am enjoying watching Republicans totally floundering at debates. Part of it is they are trying to defend the indefensible and getting laughed at. The other thing is, some are horrible candidates who have never really been in a tough race and can't handle it.

Worth noting. All ships going between Lake Erie and Lake ONTARIO have to pass through the Welland Canal that is entirely in Canada. Also, part of the St. Lawrence River is entirely in Canada. So Canada has the equivalent of the Strait of Hormuz at their disposal.

Most comments are calling it staged and the laughing emoji is outnumbering the like emoji by two to one.

The Supreme Court has said that a President can legally pull the plug on people here on TPS status. But that doesn't mean a President has to do it. It is a matter of choice to cruelly take that legal status away from people who have established new lives here.

Graham Platner may not be a flawless candidate but I find the media piling on his past (especially the New York Times) troubling. Remember that Susan Collins put the anti-abortionists on the Supreme Court who removed every woman's right to choose. That is far worse than anything in Platner's past.

With the SAVE Act, Republicans are assuming it will make it more difficult for Democratic leaning voters to register than Republican voters. I am not sure this is the case. Example; those low information voters that are a big part of the MAGA base are unlikely to have passports or other documents.
