Carmilla @c0nyx.bsky.social · 25/03/2025That is a really good point. Like both of them. Kishimoto’s early designs showed a lot of the internal conflicts of the characters with how emotive it was. When he changed it a lot of that emotion got lost. In the anime the simple style worked “fine” cause it’s animated, a single image needs more. 020

It kind of sucks when all of the characters are “attractive” cause I’ve noticed when mangakas do that most often the characters end up looking similar? (probably because that’s what the mangaka considers attractive) when they make the characters “ugly” there’s usually more variety. 100

I don’t really mind the change in the art but I wish he would continue the first path of the story. 000

Like it’s really easy to make a mha oc I have like 4 of those but I can’t for the life of me imagine an oc that fits in bsd or Naruto. 000
