I am Canadian. I do not hate Americans at all but I would be naive to trust the American government today, tomorrow or in the future without significant changes to the way it conducts itself. And it’s not Canada or the world’s choice but only Americans can make the changes necessarty!!!

I’m in Europe atm and I have to say that folks are really anti American here - the relief I see in their eyes when we tell them we are Canadians, (they can’t distinguish the accent differences) with one waiter saying “I thought you sounded American, but you were so quiet, I wasn’t sure!
