THEIR SCARS MEANS THEY ARE ALIVEEEEEE (also..... Secret wedding marking symbolism shhhhhhh)

TELL HIM WOWO!! Like. Wolfwood wakes up from sedatives and he finds Vash half death in his side of atmosphere and he's weeping and saying sorry and Wolfwood is like "are you for real?!?"

120

PHM and Trigun being stories about love and partnership and redemption and AND AND *stars crying and never stops* I LOVE THESE STORIES SO MUCHDHDHBD

Everything is a set you can touch and feel and experience and it's so beautiful to see!!! And Ortiz speaks about his partnership with Ryan in lots of videos. He and Ryan truly helped each other deliver the best performance possible 🥹🥹❤️❤️

YES YES YES YES EXACTLY!!! Like there is not a single person that didn't love working on this film and didn't pour all their soul in it!!! God fucking damnit!!!

phm has been a new hyperfixation lately so, naturally, i’ve been thinking about ww taking the role of grace while vash is the funny little alien guy that ww is definitely not falling in love with no that would be crazy haha ha ha,, hm.

You are so right like your brain is so huge yes yes yes yes!!!! Amaze amaze amaze!!!!

110

While we were yapping of similar hcs @kbstories.bsky.social thrown this idea: fishing accident, Ww is badly injured and splashed against the screen and Vash exits his atmosphere to go help him. His claw/feathers leave marks on Ww, in the same place where Vash holds Ww in volume 10 :) walk with us

THANKS!!! SO HAPPY TO FIND MORE LIKE MINDED PEOPLE UWU ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰 Sharing the yaoi-braincells like they are candies ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP WE ARE SHARING THE SAME BRAINCELL BECAUSE I'M HAVING SIMILAR THOUGHTS OH YESS OH YESSSSSS I LOVE THIS SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA

JUST FINISHED THE VIDEO THAT TALKS ABOUT HIS ERIDIAN VOICE AND WHAT. The sound designer used the sound of his whiny dog that passed away recently to make Rocky's whimpers during his sacrifice I am shaking crying throwing up

Snow White in a Padded Cell

Oh wait, special mention to the music obv?!?! Like. What do you mean there's Dies Irae notes to convey the heavy themes, but they are elevated to make it sound more hopeful. Ahaha. I Will never be normal about this film ahaha

Not that the Oscars are any indicators of good films anymore honestly but. Yeah. They deserve their recognition. (just for your interest, if odissey wins some oscars and PHM doesn't I'll be on the news. I'll kill. I will take shitty nolan's head and drink the blood of my enemy from it Istg)

170

And and and and and James keeping Ryan company on the Hail Mary set because he was starting to feel homesick, alone for so many months, and. Oh god. They all loved this film so much and they did such a great job with it and I hope they will win all the Oscars.

Carl wasn't even supposed to show as much as he did and yet they scripted more scenes with him because they were having so much FUN!!!! And Ryan listening to Sandra humming to herself and going "woah she need to do a karaoke on the film" AND THEY SCRIPTED THE SCENE JUST TO MAKE HER SINGHDISNDJS ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Talking about humanity... The fact that half the film is improvisation and real moments between the actors because there's chemistry and love and partnership. What do you mean Ryan and James were able to do 30/40 minutes takes fully in character because they just clicked together. Oh my god.

We see love poured into the work and thoughts and brainstorming and wonderful craftsmanship. I'm. I'm so emotional about Project Hail Mary my god. I'm so happy it came out in the time it did, it truly delivers home (AH) the importance of being so utterly and wonderfully HUMAN.

Oh I'm starting to cry. Like. In a moment where AI seems the only thing that truly matters (spoiler is OBV not), we see people doing puppetry and creating whole sets and actors actually feeling the character so well they actually may be them for real.

And what about the fact that there's not a single green screen in the whole film uh?? What about the fact that everything was created with love and thought and creativity and devotions to the arts. What about the fact that this story is about hope and what humanity is really about

1110

Oh and did I mention that Rocky's Eridian name is literally HARMONY THAT COMES FROM HAPPINESS I MAY DIE ACTUALLY GOD FUCKING DAMNIT

1110

But not only that. THE FACT THAT THEY MADE A WHOLE PUPPET and tried as little as they could to use CGI because they wanted Rocky to feel REAL UGHHHH and don't get me started on his (Eridian) voice. The director didn't want synth so they had to create his harmony by mouth and instruments WHAT

2140

Like, what do you mean that James Ortiz (Rocky's puppeteer and VA) was present the moment puppet!Rocky was created because it was his creature. What do you mean he thought about Rocky's past and put a lot of work into showing his POV as well in the film. God. James I love you.

Now that I'm sick as a dog I can have some time for myself to just. Enjoy shit without doing it. And I'm watching an honestly worrying amount of material about Project Hail Mary and I have to yap about it. Not only is it a beautiful film, but. The love??? Behind it??? Can we talk about that???

Gotta be one of my fav scenes from the manga, the Arc part...it's when you see the utter trust they have for each other... *howls into the night* #vashwood #trigun

A scene from Trigun, where Vash escapes with an unconscious Wolfwood from the Arc. The are flying through the air, and Vash is gripping onto Wolfwood while part of his wings are out. We don't see Wolfwood's face, onl lots of bloodstains on his clothes. The ground is loosely hinted at beneath some clouds, and in the upper left corner the Arc is seen with some smoke coming out of it.

it took me 800 years to draw this so Apologies in advance for my speed but post max vw prompt!! vash is not as goopy eyed here but his eyes are certainly wet and is still slowly getting used to it all #vashwood #trigun

black and white sketch comic of post trimax vash and wolfwood, in bed together, beginning with wolfwood drowsily waking up. a 3 panel sequence focused on vash’s eyes, as though observed by wolfwood. vash has his eyes closed at first, a tear coming out of his left eye and it drips as he steadily opens them, before they glance towards wolfwood, making eye contact. he smiles at wolfwood and says, “morning, wolfwood.” wolfwood, bundled in the blankets that is also draped over vash, looks back with a slightly troubled expression.

$from beneath the covers, a panel showing their undressed bodies, as wolfwood reaches his arm over and grabs vash, pulling him towards him, “c’mere.” vash is hugged into wolfwood’s chest, arm over his shoulder and a hand pressed to cover the ear that’s away from wolfwood’s body. the text bubble is more fractured as wolfwood says “get some rest. i can tell ya barely slept. there’s nowhere we hafta be.” vash’s hand slips from the front of wolfwood’s torso to wolfwood’s lower back. the thumps of wolfwood’s heart sounds throughout the page.$

vash presses his fingers into wolfwood’s lower back, reminiscence of a panel from volume 10. wolfwood says, “sleep, vash. i’ll be right here.” a close up of vash’s eye, an expression that could be contemplative or soothed. his eye then shuts close. vash says, “your voice sounds far away.” wolfwood says, “focus on the important sound yer hearin’ right now.” a quiet beat. vash then prompts again, “i like your voice…” the thumps pick up pace and the comic ends with a drawing of vash asleep, still at wolfwood’s chest while wolfwood has an arm over him and his hand to his face, blushing.
