I got 10 DVDs from a charity shop for £3.50 I understand if you can't afford the nice things but don't give me that bullshit when you're spending £6 Netflix, another £6 on Disney+ and £5 on Paramount+ monthly And you own nothing. Save and have ownership, that's when you'll be happy. buy physical.

Pride month may be over, but rights will still be violated with sexuality and sexual identity still being misunderstood, criticised, mislabeled. Similar for any other awareness event for some period of time "celebrated" by "normal" people to appear "inclusive" 🧵1/2

I can somewhat agree with the social media ban for under 16s that's happening here But idk Something fishy considering the recent ID stuff they put in place

Cancelling your subscriptions and getting media that you can physically own is cool and so much more personal and secure. Always has been, always will be. Can't get a physical copy because they don't sell physical copies? Pirate it. You never could own it anyways.

Nothing saying you can't use an ad blocker Or, if you're favourite creator/s have 'em, support them via their Patreon, Floatplane, Ko-fi, etc, etc

To be clear, I give Stoat the highest form of respect for being like how Linux is to Windows Small team, ambitious goal. Very impressed so far

Zed @bzz7t.nekoweb.org · 23/02/2026

The only thing that's stopping me from using Stoat more is Mobile notifications I can see there are things in place but is still broke That and Bolt (a multi-platform bridging bot) I can't seem to get working

Stoat (previously, Revolt) seems like a decent Discord alternative Just be patient with their verification emails when you sign up Lotta people jumping ship Steam also has some decent server-like features as well surprisingly

I am furious at how I can't just connect my Quest 3 to my PC via USB without some clunky software (Official Quest Link and ALVR) All I wanna do is play games on Steam, set settings like framerate, bitrate, resolution, etc, and have it work without any visual, technical or performance issues I beg

010

Zed @bzz7t.nekoweb.org · 27/12/2025

I wanna make more videos on my #YouTube but, while motivation is a little low, I don't wanna keep annoying and bugging my friends that are tied up in other things Not that I dislike making videos with @waffiekiwi57.bsky.social and etc but it's very clear that... (1/3)

My mother is half blind, and has arthritis. But she still makes her own stuff, painting rocks. So, I'm gunna say disability is a poor excuse for AI.

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default. Here's how to turn it off. First go to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner

Screenshot of the top of a Bsky feed, with a red circle around the hamburger menu in the top left.

I couldn't figure out Grub and secure boot so I came up with another solution Put the two OS's on separate drives and boot from them via the bios And I must say, Battlefield 6... I am in warfare heaven (Not sure who made this, just searched "feels good meme battlefield")

Variant of the "feels good meme"

A soldier with his hand on his face, eyes closed in a living the dream expression

I don't know how else to explain it but he's loving life right now
