Things have been really rough for me lately, things have happened, my life has gone down unexpected paths. As I said in my statement, I wish everyone in sawtooth nothing but the absolute best, support them all, they deserve it And as for me, big things are coming, I promise, but please be patient.

Before the release of the album, we would like to issue a statement on @bythetonrtvt.bsky.social temporary departure from Sawtooth. Its been a pleasure working with them over the years and we will be excited to show you what they did for our most recent material. Best of luck to them!

Hey everyone, this is Caden Hopkins, mixing engineer for Sawtooth. It is with a heavy heart that I announce my temporary departure from working on Sawtooth. I'm proud to have worked with them since the early days and I'm extremely happy to have helped them get signed to Delicate Records, and this is nothing personal with any member, I promise.

My life has simply gone in a direction I didn't expect, and I just need a break from mixing for an indefinite amount of time. I also need to take time to focus on my own projects and future endeavors too. Exciting things are coming, I promise.

I have nothing but respect for my friends and family in Sawtooth, and I assure you, they will craft excellence with or without me. 💜

It is sad to see someone that we spent years with, making music and just generally hanging out, leave the band, if it will likely be temporary. We still wish to collaborate with Caden as we can, for example I have contributed to their progressive metalcore project Rhythmic Thoughts (which you should check out if you wish to support Caden)

This will result in a definite change to the sound of Sawtooth, but we promise to make great music regardless. As for Caden, we wish them the best of luck in not having to deal with my bullshit

May your horse girls be infinite and your vtubers omnipresent
