Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 06/10/2026It is true. Fuck me - that is amazing. I finished Star Wars Outlaws on Luna and it was great; this is a real endorsement of the tech if they're pushing a high-octane racer on the service. Wow. That's my evening sorted. 010
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Um. I know people say "huge if true" sarcastically but this is genuinely huge if true. 040

Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Was just looking at the data a popular Steam analytics platform has across our portfolio. Nine games are within 25 percent of the actual (over or under); almost third are more than 50 percent out. It underestimates 48 percent of our releases. Good times. 050
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Agree with this. Also lacking a fucking "it's the weekend" option on the alarm. 041
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Absolutely no idea what this door entry code could be. 051
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I had a great time at Game Anglia Direct today. Great talks in the morning, and some gems in the afternooon pitches. Thanks for having me! Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Finished that Spider-Man 2. Like all AAAs it goes on far too long, but really enjoyed most of it. 7/10. 120
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I'm pleased to report I've still got it. The Royal Writ is out now on Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Game Pass. Really happy more people now have the opportunity to play this brilliant deckbuilder. 1184

Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Counterpoint against the cloud gaming grumps: prompted by the GTA hype and realising I'd like a more convenient way to play it, I bought a second hand PlayStation Portal off eBay. I've been impressed with the cloud streaming side of it. SpiderMan 2 handheld is much more playable than on handheld PC. 000
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 01/09/2026My three kings. The Royal Writ - coming to consoles September 10th. Also on Game Pass. 1131

Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 21/08/2026We've had a year of the Royal Writ and still a fucking belter. I wonder what's coming next? 010
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Well that was the rub; we needed guaranteed cloud cover at a particular height to project it onto that at the moment of darkness. We couldn't be sure, so we bailed. And of course there was cloud cover, so we could have ruined it for everyone. Would have been funny though. 020
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 12/08/2026We came _very_ close to projecting the face of Command & Conquer's Kane onto the eclipse the last time it happened. 241
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 10/08/2026I dunno why anyone would pay to get rid of adverts on Reddit when you'd miss on placements like this. I'd like to think it's deliberate on the part of Specsavers. If so - bravo. 040

Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 22/07/2026I feel uncomfortable acknowledging compliments but I'm very happy to have played a small part in the success of Human: Fall Flat. Happy 10th birthday! What an incredible ride. 120
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 18/07/2026I thought it was loads more than 23, so I'm _slightly_ disappointed. May have a proper check again later. 000
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 13/07/2026Yeah the annoying thing is I've already received some missing pieces, but then after they arrived and I turned a few more pages more are missing, which means I'm gonna have to request some again. It's two weeks between requesting and receiving and it's sucking my enthusiasm for the build, sadly. 000
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 12/07/2026I'm now officially the bravest gamer in the country. What a fucking terrifying/great game that was. First half of it absolutely up there with the scariest I've played. Horrible. Brilliant. 210
Simon Byron @byronicman.bsky.social · 12/07/2026Love the idea of this but currently cursing all the missing pieces from my (brand new) Pac-Man build so not sure I can put myself through it again. 110
