Not just the NHS - many schools built then have RAAC roofs and are having to be replaced at huge cost to the public purse. Most are in England and a few in north Wales.

The new trees in Ipswich - paid for by a govt grant - are contained in planters designed to send the roots down first before they fan out.
Image shows people sitting on benches next to the new large tree planters (app 3 metres by 5 metres). The trees are still too small to afford shade but will be effective in a few years.

Sort of. The term "the North" using a capital N is commonly used as a shorthand to mean the north of England region, just as the 'west country' doesn't mean Wales and technically, the Midlands should be Yorks/Lancs as geographically that would be correct, but few if any are confused by that.
A map of the UK with a white line to show 54 degrees north. The square mileage of the UK is roughly equal north and south of the 54th north degree of latitude, give or take around 3,000 square miles.

While that's true to a certain extent, there have been huge advances in wind and solar, even in the last several years, as well as batteries, that make it much more cost effective today as an alternative.
