Me and every other Transformers fan yelling at the screen when Stranger Things featured a kid owning an Ultra Magnus toy in *1985*.

Randomly got reminded of SG Slicer with Exo-Suit, one of the lowkey coolest sets of toys put out in the recent era.

Do we think Alpha Trion was a comphet shipper? Like he specifically saved Orion Pax's girl friend but not his boy friend seemingly to ensure he only wound up in a straight relationship. Then when Optimus bailed anyway, he manifested an entire-ass AU fanfic to keep them together.

First page of Transformers End of G1 Universe manga "Emissaries from the Divergent World, Part One" showing G1 Optimus getting ready to leave Elita on the trip that will take him to Earth, prompting Alpha Trio to write in a divergent altnerate universe, the Earthspark world, where Optimus and Elita can stay together.

Those first Christmas Star Wars figures were kinda cute but they clearly went to Hasbro's head and these things have only gotten more and more cringe as they've gone on. This Valentine's pack isn't the worst one, but

Also not for nothing, but the dude's character design still has more sauce on it than any of your average isekai or harem protags

Leave it to Inoue to take the concept of a "normal average main character" and make him into an offputting freak

Tbf changing the colors I don't think would negate the fun of a bit light-up noisemaking blaster (and arguably makes it more interesting than All Black) Hasbro's shown they can make these sorts of things work (ironically enough in Bayverse).

Oh yeah, this is based on the updated "40th Selection" Lio Convoy version of the mold TakaraTomy did, which completely redid parts including the head/mane to be more anime-style.

Funfact: Dark Amber Leo Prime isn't from the show! He's a different guy from Black Lio Convoy from the BWII anime. DALP's starring role in the New Legends/End of G1 Universe manga is what's sold me on him so much.
