I've been loving riptide, but please ban command and conquer. The card has steadily been creeping up in how effective it is and fully stopping Riptide's traps just feels egregious for a red attack 6. Potentially losing arsenal, tempo and up to 6 damage is too much for an action ra6

The main problem with this is pokemon and bandai have collectors from outside the playerbase who rip boxes in search for those higher rarity cards. In FaB, most of the people play the game and very few just collect high rarity stuff because why would they? LSS will just print a higher rarity one day

For sure! FaB's still early-ish in it's life cycle, now is the time to experiment with these things to see what happens. If it even gives people a smidgen of the knowledge that they're not going to be dragged along just hoping the next set is for them, I think it's a win all round.

If what James says is real and they do show off all the logos at the World Champs keynote, I can see that being a double edged sword. Imagine seeing something brute coded at the end of the year, waiting all year for the set only for it not to contain a brute. Colossal crash outs all round #fabtcg

Unironically, Assassin has always been a class that I've been interested in, having played Huntsman a fair bit back when Dyn dropped. If this set lowers the price of entry for the Ls and Ms and gives some new spice to play around with, Massive Win in my books. Plus Morty looks AMAZING #fabtcg

It will ultimately become unnecessary noise and bloat presented to a community that only really cares about the next limited set, it's competitive impact and if the cards can make better CC or Sage decks. Sage being accepted and championed shows they just need to focus on more competitive formats

UPF is *fine* but nobody in the community actively wants to play UPF as their main format. PVE will have all the same issues as UPF. It'll be a novel experience for a bit, it will get a handful of cards useful to it relegated to expansion slots and Judge packs so they're hard to find/expensive.

FaB's strong point is the competitive nature of it and they should focus on that. The gameplay doesn't lend itself to casual game modes and the lack of repeatable, fun games in the casual space that aren't just different flavours of the 1 on 1 gameplay is evident of that.
