I’m in the UK. I’ve been to the US several times. I worked for a US-based company. I don’t understand how Trump became electable. Over here he was always regarded as a fat clown with a bad comb-over.

US fuel prices are dirt cheap. We pay double in the UK. £1.80 per litre which is approx $9.04 per US gallon (at $1.3265/£ exchange rate). Please start fewer wars and elect some normal humans.

Americans are moaning about petrol prices - they call it gas, but it’s a liquid - so I just did some research. Based on an exchange rate of $1.00 = £0.75, US FUEL IS DIRT CHEAP. Today, US average price £0.87 per litre. UK average price £1.75 per litre. A fat demagogue bombed Iran.

I had high (bad) cholesterol but have managed it through diet rather than meds. Chickpeas or lentils are in just about every meal we cook. I don’t eat cheese (unless unavoidable) and butter is a killer. Kids that eat ready meals at home and fried dinners at school will eventually pay the price.

Whilst more climate-aware regions of the world are shocked that the American electorate can be so stupid as to enable all this, it’s a lack of education on climate change that makes it hard for them to understand the consequences, even when they experience droughts, floods and extreme temperatures.

I’ve just looked up who invented Tupperware. Earl Tupper developed flexible, durable, and lightweight plastic containers while working with polyethylene slag. I’m guessing she was a work colleague.
