I wanted to share the difference between how i imagine the lace tiger actually looks like vs how i draw it…because yeah it isn’t accurate when i draw it but it’s easier and i like the stylization…

this is seriously so wonderful Mimic knows restraint, it knows love thanks to David's kindness, it knows all sorts of kind things that it was shown and yet still prefers to be violent after what Edwin did to it agony or not that's so sad man

A passage showing one of the earliest interactions Mimic had with Edwin

if inspiration strikes! I'd love to draw more magical girls again, I've just been really dedicated to drawing Mimic lately that it's been hard to work on other things 🥹 I'd like to draw mahoiku magical girls with FNAF characters!

they're great insight into how amazing Mimic is ☺️ Mimic has a springlock piece on its leg so it's either proof of the epilogues having happened OR we'll end up trapping it in a springlock suit in SOTM as an ending... I respect Lucia for being able to outsmart it 🫡

Tiger Rock was def messing with Kai and made him think he left the VR booth not once but twice He continued to manifest through those animals with the blue/green eyes, playing mindgames with Kai the whole time leading up to him ripping off his arms we do a little trolling!

thinking back on the last three months, so much of what I was working on has been on pause because I don't want to do anything but think about and draw Mimic...but I'd like to soon start working more on things I haven't been: a stageplay I've been translating and a garage kit...

oh yes!! i like the visuals in the music video a lot, and though it's not something I actively listen to I've rewatched the MV a lot and have some screenshots from it! really awesome song concept, a mimic song disguised as a springtrap song 🧙‍♂️

🤍mimic's lace tiger plushie🤍 @bweemic.bsky.social · 24/10/2024

but they are I do like the Ruin design and for how I imagine meeting it, it would be around the timeframe that it would look like this (pre-RUIN but post-epilogues) plus that's the only official visual appearance I have to work with beyond tiger rock...what do you want me to do?

010

🤍mimic's lace tiger plushie🤍 @bweemic.bsky.social · 24/10/2024

you got it! no pun intended I use he and it but I headcanon it will take on whatever the pronouns are of what it's mimicking I don't think Mimic really thinks or cares about gender so I just refer to it with what's been established from the books

020

🤍mimic's lace tiger plushie🤍 @bweemic.bsky.social · 24/10/2024

what are you talking about this ain't about helpi anyways the Tales books do so much to explore Mimic's character beyond what we see from how it acts in RUIN and establishes why it acts the way it does if you're curious I'd say at least read "The Mimic" story and the epilogues

020

🤍mimic's lace tiger plushie🤍 @bweemic.bsky.social · 24/10/2024

anon...the mimic came from a book series... where do I even start with this one so im used to enjoying characters that have very minimal screentime, they end up being my favorites often, but mimic has so much in the series already - ruin is just a piece of its history!
