"Oh I got a convention this weekend, I want to draw some sketches for that" My wrist: "How about you don't :)" THIS THING REALLY HAS UNLUCKY TIMING.

I'm gonna be a pathetic worm and admit that I actually enjoy comments on my work. It makes me smile, gives me hope, feeds me validation and keeps me trucking. No one owes me a comment. But it sure makes a difference. Posting on socmed is very isolating and I often feel disconnected to the world.

Been thinking on the use of GenAi for mood boards. Ethics and legal risks aside, I truly believe using GenAi as references deprives one of many pivotal things. Here’s a blurb on what I mean:

Some thoughts:
When using GenAi as a mood board you don't get sources. This means you deprive yourself from knowledge.
You generated a location? You deprived yourself of knowing more about the interesting parts of the world and why things came to be.
Generate an armor or costume? You deprived yourself on real world techniques, function, form and history.
You generated art inspirations? You deprive yourself of learning about artists from history or lock out living ones from potentially being hired.
Ethical issues of using GenAi models aside, one ends up making visuals mood boards devoid of reality and history. With it one deprives themselves from learning about our world and who is living in it, inadvertently making your work weaker, because of how detached it is from our shared human reality and history.

I didn't have the biggest of sales at Play!Con in Trier, but I'm still glad I went! It was my second con as an artist, first time having a full table. I have a lot to learn and upgrade, but I hope to get into at least two cons next year. It's fun!!

Game fucked up a bit by not speaking out in favor of Stop Killing Games (yet), but they at least made a good statement regarding the payment provider bullshit. Admittedly, this is kinda funny, given that uncensored NSFW games are banned on German Steam xD

I'm really busy this month, but I'll try to at least get revenge sketches done 🙏🏻 I've seen a looot of cool people joining for the first time this year! So I'll probably prioritize friends and those who are new and don't have many defenses :3 #artfight2025 #artfight25 #teamfossils

I don't know which ArtFight team to choose, waahhhh... I loved fossils as a kid and kinda regret never getting more into them. But the Bismuth crystal on my desk is looking at me like 🥺 I always wanted to own a small fossil too, though...

These were my WIPs for the RB zine. I'm still gonna finish them later (maybe change a few things, make the cut a bit bigger since as a portrait artist my space was pretty limited) but for now I need a break. Sorry for being an idiot. #Atomizer #SenatorShockwave

Said my opinion in my reblog but in short to the bsky people: Read this very good post. It has screenshots (which I mostly hadn't seen before). I'm not sure if the mods are just naive, if "being a little hater" is suddenly a good thing now or wtf is going on, but I'm done with this discussion.

Drew my favorite Skywarp panel from the new Transformers comics! Used him to practice ink and markers as I don't use that medium very often and now have access to some really nice pens 👀 #maccadam #transformers #transformersfanart #skywarp #energonuniverse

Started out as a quick sketch, escalated into an 8 hour experiment lol I don't think I've had fun like this in a long time. These 8 hours went by like NOTHING! #valentinesday #kotobukiyabishoujo #bumblebee #maccadam #transformers #humanformers #transformersfanart

Made a few Transformers-inspired cats for a Match-3-Game for university! It's not directly fanart but I think fans will immediately recognize most of them haha Can you guess who's who? 👀 #maccadam #gameassets #gameasset

Currently working on the color wheel challenge with Transformers (1984 Cartoon Version)! It's a bit hard but also a nice practice after drawing (human) organics for 9 years now and just starting out with mechs ^-^ I'll be doing this Autobot wheel first, Decepticon Wheel is also planned! #maccadam

Still like this Post from Huevember 2020 very much! I did the challenge weekly and this one had my favorite color palette by far. The hair has such a nice shading, I remember how therapeutic it was to give it this texture~

Thought it might be a good idea to build my profile with different stuff that I'm still proud of! This space fish was an attempt at creature design and more horror-esque art. Experimenting is a lot of fun for me, so expect occasional random stuff aside from my usual portraits :D

First post! Thought it would be fitting to introduce myself with a self portrait I did for University in 2022. I decided to draw myself in my own style, doing what I love to do - sitting in front of my computer and drawing! The stickers and posters are artworks from franchises I like ^-^
