Looking for a post-bac with bioinformatic skills from Princeton? Julian Gottfried (juliansg@princeton.edu) uses theoretical modeling and Bayesian inference for disease ecology or applied conservation. His thesis work with me was analysis of single cell RNA Seq data of pinnipeds. He is excellent!

Beautiful art work in the latest front cover of Nature to illustrate the diversity of Mexican Genomics as evidenced by recent publications. We need more large-scale genomics projects for underrepresented populations, but also the time & resources to analyze, derive insights, and train students.

4) We want to help the Council see that they would not only damage their unique coyote population, but also the dozens of species that live in this coastal habitat (which is currently UNDEVELOPED).

3) Our research has discovered that these amazing 'ghost wolves' or 'fancy coyotes' has been featured in the New York Times (www.nytimes.com/2022/01/03/s... , a PBS Ecosense For Living episode (www.pbs.org/video/messin...), CNN (www.cnn.com/2022/07/02/u...), as well as other numerous media outlets.

2) The Galveston coyotes are unique and carry a non-trivial amount of endangered red wolf genetics that they acquired from red wolves, which were declared extinct in the wild in 1980. These red wolf genes persist in these coyotes that are quite distinct from other coyotes across the nation.
