Loving that the Swansea Junior Football League u12 Cup has taken precedence over the Cymru Prem games in the Cymru Football app this lunch time. Hard lines to Maltsers Sport u12s tho, on a tough loss at home, but shake it off & you will be able to concentrate on the league now, girls & boys💪

I was down in Swansea today and called into the National Waterfront Museum. I haven’t been in there for a long time, but it looked like the exhibits have been unchanged for about 15 years. I suppose we should be thankful the roof isn’t leaking at least! These football exhibits caught my eye!

After 99% but cloudy eclipse in 1999, I’ve been waiting for another one that was do-able on my budget. Travelled 800miles to Santander in Spain - clouded over 15 mins before totality!! Completely clear 1.5 hrs drive south!! These two pics are about a minute apart Maybe we’ll try again next August!!

Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland have all got passed the group stage in both the Euros and the World Cup, unlike Scotland, despite the Scots qualifying for as many World Cups & Euro Champions as the other three countries combined. Just looks a delay to the inevitable currently.

The table of the 3rd placed teams in the group stage of the World Cup. Scotland are the 10th best ranked, only the top 8 best ranked qualify for the second round of matches.

I had this as an Xmas present, it’s worth reading & has some good anecdotes, but it’s much more a career autobiography than a history. On several occasions, he explains unnamed people asked him to write stories for a specific purpose. I found that illuminating, but not surprising with hindsight.
