Found out on the 4th that my brother, his wife and their children will be moving 9 hours away to a different state for a new job. I'm going to miss my nieces and nephews so much 💔 I don't know how to deal with this. Those kids mean so much to me.

It's been a rough week. We have adopted a new cat (more on her soon!) but I've really been feeling the loss of Oliver. He was part of our lives for ten years. As someone with chronic illness and disability that cat was my buddy, my best friend and my constant comfort through the hard times 💔

It's a little weird to cry about him being gone when he's still here but I'm cherishing every heartbeat, every purr and every meow. I'm thankful it hurts so much because it means he has been so deeply loved and has made a huge impact on our lives. #seniorcat #catsofbluesky

We got the blood test results back from the vet. Oliver is unfortunately in the end stages of his kidney disease. 💔 We have a couple quality of life options we are looking at for our boy 😞. #catsofbluesky #seniorcats

Oliver is home from the vet. He's lost weight unfortunately. But he started eating again. His butt is still stinky but he's been bathed. I wrapped his booty in a towel so I could cuddle him. He's gone two days without it because of poopy butt. He's officially an old man 😭 #seniorcat #catsofbluesky

Had an ER visit this week thanks to a feckin migraine and low potassium causing facial nerve numbness. The numbness weirded me out so I got checked out to be safe. Damn migraine messed up my electrolytes and potassium levels 🖕

Years ago I used to be scared to death of needles, and now I have to do once a month injections for a migraine medication in my stomach. Glad I was able to work through my fear before the migraine medication became necessary (thanks to blood draws)- but omg, can you imagine??? 😅
