Celebrating #WhiskersWednesday and #WontLookWednesday both with this picture! My photographer thought they could use my #hedgewatch to get a good shot of me without me noticing... hah!

I helped my humans do laundry today! I'm sure they really appreciated my hard work getting the sheets in just the right position!

Another #ThrowbackThursday huh? Well, here's an old photo that shows even when I was a little guy, I knew I was meant for big things!

Floyd, a white and orange kitten, in the middle of a large dog bed. Floyd is about the size of a dog bone that's on the bed, and does not take up the vast majority of the dog bed's space.

My humans cleared this table off this weekend, just for me I'm sure! It makes a great place to sprawl out and relax!

Shh! I'm hiding from Arlo... and from Monday! They can't get me if they can't find me!

#ThrowbackThursday is here again, and this time I'm sharing a litten picture that might be the closest I've ever come to smiling like a human would! (I guess I'm just a serious kind of cat...)

Floyd, a white and orange kitten, laying on the floor, his mouth partly open in what looks like a smile.

Glaring at my photographer for getting my #WhiskersWednesday post out on the late side... and for having the nerve to photograph me in the first place!

I spent #SiblingSunday investigating this cardboard box with Zippy! Not sure what the humans wanted it for, but it's a cat bed now!

This #Caturday I'm trying to get comfy cozy while still keeping an eye out for the paparazzi!

In honor of yesterday's TRAUMATIZING vet visit, here's a #ThrowbackThursday picture of me as a kitten in a cat carrier, heading to my forever home for the first time! Of course, I'm much bigger and braver now!

Floyd, a white and orange kitten, huddled in the back of a cat carrier.

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I had to go to the VET today and they gave me a SHOT! And that's after they manhandled me! My humans gave me a catnip party afterwards to make up for it, though... catnip does have a way of making things all better...

Floyd, a white and orange cat, turned away from the camera, his head approaching a pile of catnip on the floor.

I got a nice #hedgewatch in this morning... it had rained before, and it was fun watching the clouds moving around in the sky!

Enjoying #SiblingSunday by letting Zippy hang out next to me by the open window. Some might argue that since she was there first, it was ME who chose to hang out with HER... but I say, an open window is worth checking out regardless!

#ThrowbackThursday picture of me as a kitten enjoying a good hair tie! I haven't been playing with them as much lately, but hair ties are still my favorite toys!

Once again #WhiskersWednesday has arrived, and I am ready for it as always!

Happy Labor Day! Here's to all the hard-working people who keep everything working the way it should... couldn't be me, but I'm glad someone's doing all that hard work!

After some testing, I've decided that this new bed lives up to my high standards... but I still should have been consulted on the purchase beforehand!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, laying on a bed with his eyes closed.

010

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

So today is both #TongueOutTuesday and Ginger Cat Appreciation Day, huh? Well, I'm only part ginger, but I can show off my whole tongue at least!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, facing the camera, his mouth wide open in a deep yawn.

010

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Arlo and I were hanging out on my photographer's bed when they started taking the sheets off... and then people came and took the bed away and put a new one in! I did NOT approve of this change beforehand! They have a lot of nerve!

#ThrowbackThursday post of me hanging by my photographer's old laptop covered in stickers... now they have another laptop covered in different stickers! And I still don't get what's so interesting about those... How can they stare at a computer for hours when they could be staring at ME instead???

Floyd, a white and orange cat, laying on a wooden platform next to the back of a laptop, which is covered almost entirely in a variety of stickers.

010

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

What? No, you can't move this thing, it's the perfect chin rest! What use could you POSSIBLY have for it that's more important? ..."work" you say? Don't make me laugh!

This #caturday I'm admiring this contraption the humans put together for me. It might look a bit odd, but it sure is good for scratching!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, staring at the camera through a triangular set of scratching posts.

I'm glad SOME humans understand this, at least!

#ThrowbackThursday picture of me enjoying one of my chairs! (My mom thinks it's HER chair, but what does she know?) I do know how to get nice and comfy!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, sitting in a chair, his front legs draped over his back legs as he looks towards the camera.

110

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

It's #WhiskersWednesday again and I'm showing off my nice set of whiskers while yelling at my photographer for daring to try to get a picture of them! They have a lot of nerve!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, his mouth wide open.

050

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Spending #SiblingSunday with Moxie in this nice spot she found... I mean, this nice spot I found and she joined me in, of course! Because I'm always the best at exploring and finding good spots!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, looking into the camera while sitting on a chair. Moxie, a white and black cat, lays on another chair next to him, facing away from the camera.

030

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

My photographer didn't post about their birthday yesterday, huh? Well, at least they're consistent... and of course I don't really care about their birthday anyway, though their birthday presents make for a good sleeping spot!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, laying on top of a cardboard box and several envelopes.

010

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

#ThrowbackThursday post from when I was a bit smaller, and my photographer was a bit more reliable... oh, "work" this and "vacation" that, all I hear is excuses! They've gotta get their priorities in order around here!

Floyd, a white and orange kitten, sitting on a cat tree and turning his head to look at the camera upside-down.

010

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

We had a weird day yesterday! First there was a storm and the humans made us all have another "tornado warning" basement party, then the lights and AC went off and didn't go back on all day... glad to be chilling in my air-conditioned home right now!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, sprawled out on a counter and looking at the camera.

110

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

For #SiblingSunday I hung out with Zippy... but not too close, of course! And I got the highest spot, as I rightfully deserve...

Floyd, a white and orange cat, sits next to a window as Zippy, a black cat, sits on a slightly lower ledge nearby.

010

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

I got another #hedgewatch in next to the open window this morning! Apparently it's getting hotter outside, though. Glad I don't have to deal with that directly, but I'll miss the fresh air...

180

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Between the heat and the smoke, it's been a while since my humans opened the windows, but I got to enjoy a #hedgewatch with fresh air this morning! And since it's both #WhiskersWednesday and #WontLookWednesday I let my photographer get a picture that works for both!

180

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Okay, enough about the smoke. It's #Caturday so you should be focusing on what matters most... meaning ME, of course!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, sprawled out on a bed sheet.

011

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

That weird look on my face here is because I got a whiff of that smoky air outside! And one whiff was enough for me to know I do NOT approve of that stuff!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, standing and looking at the camera with a strange expression on his face.

021

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 17/07/2026

It's super smoky out where I live... once again I'm glad to be an inside cat! It does complicate my #hedgewatch routine some, though...

Floyd, a white and orange cat, standing next to a window, his head facing the outside.

Enjoying my #caturday on top of the cat tree. It's a good spot to relax while still keeping an eye on things nearby!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, laying on a pedestal atop a cat tree, his eyes half closed.

011

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

For #ThrowbackThursday have a picture of me as a kitten enjoying a lick of toilet paper for what might be the first time... but certainly not the last!

Floyd, a white and orange kitten, sitting on a toilet, his tongue visible as he licks a roll of toilet paper.

001

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Today is both #WhiskersWednesday and my dad's birthday! Time for a double celebration! Triple if you count #WontLookWednesday which I'm participating in as well... even on special occasions, I'm not gonna make my photographer's job too easy!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, sitting on a bed looking off to the side of the camera.

021

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

It's both #SiblingSunday AND the first anniversary of us getting Arlo today! I still have mixed feelings about him, but much as I hate to admit it, I think that rowdy dog is growing on me...

Floyd, a white and orange cat, laying on the floor next to Arlo, a small dog.

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

My photographer has been slacking lately, but #WhiskersWednesday is an occasion I won't let them pass up! This shot works for #WontLookWednesday too, as it happens!

000

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Celebrating #SiblingSunday with a rare shot of me hanging with Moxie... but not too close, of course! I don't want anyone thinking I LIKE her or anything!

Floyd, a white and orange cat, laying on one end of a couch as Moxie, a white and black cat, sits on the other end of the couch.

010

Busy Boy Floyd @busyboyfloyd.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

For #ThrowbackThursday have a picture of me as a kitten already lounging like I own the place!

Floyd, a white and orange kitten, sprawled out on a wood floor.

Okay, I confess: this #SiblingSunday picture wasn't actually taken today. If it were, you'd be seeing rain and gloom instead of greenery and sunbeams. But rain or shine, Zippy and I are still partners in crime

Night night sweet dreamies You do not have to win every battle inside your head. Some thoughts need challenging, some need ignoring, and some simply need acknowledging before letting them pass by. Be as kind to yourself as you are to others

I reminded my photographer that it's #Caturday by helping them with their laundry! By which I mean sitting right where they wanted to put their clean clothes, of course. They should be grateful for that fine layer of fur I'm adding to their leg coverings!

Night night sweet dreamies Never underestimate the power of a smile A smile won’t solve every problem, it can brighten a difficult day, lift a heavy heart & remind someone they’re not alone If you managed a smile today, no matter how small, that’s something worth celebrating.

#ThrowbackThursday shot of me as a lanky little kitten! Okay, some of it's the angle in that picture, but it also took me a bit to grow into my long legs!

This #SiblingSunday it was nice out, so the humans opened the windows and Arlo and I did a joint sibling #hedgewatch complete with fresh air!
