When I worked at Pru this was part of conversations quiite frequently - triple lock is totally unsustainable and that (as well as state pension, eventually) will have to go as it's one of the few ways to 'fix' welfare budget, but good luck to whoever a) proposes this and b) gets it through!

When people ask why I refuse to upgrade to Windows 11 my simple answer is this 'try to make a desktop shortcut', and no - dragging the program file from it's folder to your desktop so it no longer lives in the folder and the program freaks out cause it can't find it isn't an acceptable answer'
