This place feels like a spiritual epicentre for nature lovers. St Mary's Church, Selborne: A stained glass window of Saint Francis of Assisi feeding the birds - put up over a hundred years ago as a memorial to Gilbert White, the great naturalist, and a curate in the church in the 18th Century.

Apologies for the positive post on this platform; here's a beautiful young Curlew chick, part of an inspiring "headstarting" project at #ElmleyNNR in Kent, trying to increase numbers of this endangered bird. It will be released into the wild in July, wish it well.

1/2 - I'm a proud trustee at Park Lane Stables, a local Riding For Disabled org , but don't get to see the team in action nearly as often as I would like. So it was great to be at The Royal Windsor Horse Show today watching them win the RDA Fancy Dress Competition - including Best Overall team.

I love this white cat that "inhabits" a nearby #Timpsons and #Tescos near us. Belinda is a semi-feral cat who does have a home but likes nothing better than to hang out on the counter of Timpsons, in the cafe at Tescos, and this morning - just chilling out by the main doors! People love her. #cats
